  • No, like most specialty providers, I’m not in-network with any insurance companies. To pay for therapy, you can use any of these payment options:

    • Debit or credit card

    • HSA/FSA card

    • Your out-of-network benefits

If you choose to use your out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with a superbill (receipt) that you can submit to your insurance. Depending on your plan, your insurance may reimburse a portion of the cost of your session (up to 80%). This is handled directly between you and your insurance company.

    • If you’re still not sure how it works, I’m happy to answer your questions during our consult call!

  • I provide 3 types of sessions to make your experience more customizable, and create the time and space needed for deep work.

    1- Weekly 50 Minute Sessions

    2- Extended 90 Minute Sessions:

    3- Therapy Intensives:

Intensives offer a different format for trauma work & can fast track your goals, because you have more uninterrupted time to go deeper.

I have clients that prefer doing a single 4-hour intensive once a month instead of weekly 50 minute sessions, because of the progress that can be made.

To learn more about intensives, visit the Therapy Intensives page.

  • Yes! The therapy modalities I use are just as effective virtually as they are in-person. I have several tools I use for EMDR processing online & IFS therapy works very well virtually.

Many clients prefer the comfort and privacy of doing therapy at home. Grab a blanket, your favorite drink, and get cozy!

  • For the first 6-8 weeks, I strongly recommend meeting weekly or doing 90-min sessions at least every other week. This is to establish a strong foundation for your goals and prioritize consistency. After that, we can talk about what options make sense for your goals.

If meeting regularly in the beginning is not feasible, we can work together to find another option that meets your needs. The decision is ultimately up to you!

    Frequency of therapy intensives:

The frequency of doing intensives depends on your goals and current circumstances.

    • The full intensive package is 11 hours total of therapy, and can create moderate-significant change on one goal/topic (this is dependent on trauma history and resources).

    • Clients with complex trauma or multiple therapy goals have found it helpful to do a 4-hr. intensive each month to maximize deep work & make progress more quickly.

  • The first session is dedicated to:

    • getting to know each other

    • learning about your background & goals

    • creating a roadmap for our work together

If it feels like a good fit, we will schedule future appointments. If it doesn't feel like a good fit (even after a few sessions), I'm happy to provide you with referrals for another therapist who best meets your needs.

  • At least 24-hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you provide less than 24-hours notice you will be charged the full session fee.

I ask for 24-hours notice so I can offer the spot to someone else who may want it.

    Therapy Intensives Cancellation Policy:

-Since intensives require a large block of time, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book.

-The remaining 50% is due on day 1 of the intensive.

-By booking an intensive, you have purchased the time slot and it's solely for you, unless you cancel with 2-weeks notice prior to day 1.

-If you cancel with less than 2-weeks notice, you will be charged the full amount of the intensive cost.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

    • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

    • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
